Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of MyKard.link. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
MyKard.link is a digital business card and connections service. It lets you create a public profile at mykard.link/@username, share it via link or QR, and track who interacts with it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use MyKard.link. If you use it for a business or organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that entity.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and email inbox (the magic-link is sent there).
- You are responsible for everything posted on your card.
- One person, one account. Don't share your sign-in.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use MyKard.link to:
- Impersonate another person, business, or public figure
- Distribute illegal content, malware, phishing links, or scams
- Harass, threaten, or expose private information about other people
- Promote violence, hate speech, or content harmful to minors
- Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages via Save Contact or Reach Out
- Sell illegal goods or services, or content prohibited under UAE law
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or attack the service
- Resell MyKard.link itself or rebrand it as your own service
We reserve the right to suspend or remove cards that violate these rules, with or without notice.
5. Content you post
You retain ownership of everything you put on your card (name, photo, bio, links, etc). By posting content, you grant MyKard.link a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, cache, and transmit your content as needed to run the service.
You confirm that you have the right to post the content you upload, including any photos and trademarks.
6. Username policy
- Usernames are first-come, first-served and case-insensitive.
- We may reclaim usernames that impersonate others, infringe trademarks, or are clearly abusive.
- We reserve a list of system-reserved paths (about, contact, terms, etc) that cannot be claimed as usernames.
- We do not currently sell or auction usernames.
7. Visitor data and Connections
When someone visits your card and uses Save Contact or Reach Out, the data they submit becomes visible to you in Connections. You agree to:
- Use that data only for the purpose for which it was submitted
- Not sell or share it with unrelated third parties
- Honor any request to delete from a person who submitted their info
You are the controller of Connections data on your account. MyKard.link is the processor.
8. Free, paid, and beta features
The Free plan is free, currently with no ads or watermark. We may introduce paid plans (Pro, Business) in the future. We will not retroactively paywall features that were free at the time you signed up unless we give you 60 days notice and a free alternative.
We may offer beta features. Beta features may break, change, or be removed without notice.
9. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take MyKard.link offline for maintenance, security, or any reason, with or without notice.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@mykard.link. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
On termination, your card becomes inaccessible and your data is deleted within 30 days (except where we are legally required to retain it).
11. Disclaimers
MyKard.link is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure against all attacks, or fit for any particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyKard.link, Kreative Minds, and our team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to MyKard.link is limited to USD 100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyKard.link, Kreative Minds, and our team from any claim, demand, or damages arising out of your card content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we'll post a notice and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of MyKard.link after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the UAE, unless local consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
