Delete your account and data
You can delete your MyKard account and all data we hold about you. You have two options.
Option 1. Delete from inside the app
- Open app.mykard.link and sign in.
- Go to Settings in the side menu.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account, card, connections, events, and profile data are removed within 30 days.
Option 2. Email us
If you cannot sign in, or prefer to ask us, email talk@mail.mykard.link with the subject line Delete my data.
Include the email address you used to sign up so we can find your account. We action the request within 90 days. In most cases it happens much sooner.
Partial deletion (without deleting your account)
Signed in, you can also delete individual items without removing your account:
- Delete a card (Settings, Cards)
- Remove individual connections, contacts, or notes (Connections tab)
- Remove events or attendees (Events tab)
- Clear specific profile fields (Edit card)
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your card content (name, photo, bio, links, socials)
- Your connections, contacts, tags, and notes
- Your events and attendee data
- Your request logs and view analytics
- Any uploaded files (avatars, logos, event posters)
What may be retained
- Anonymous, aggregate analytics that no longer identify you
- Billing records for Pro subscriptions, where retention is required by law (UAE tax records, Stripe payment records). These are minimal and never include card content.
- Records needed for fraud prevention or to respond to a legal request
