- MyKard.link is free for the basics. No credit card. Sign up in under sixty seconds.
- Setup: enter email, click magic link, pick username, fill profile, save and publish.
- Sharing: share a short link like mykard.link/@yourname, or show the auto generated QR code on your phone.
- Saving a contact: the visitor taps Save Contact and a vCard 3.0 lands in their phone book. No app required for the visitor.
- Customisation: 8 colour themes, 3 visibility modes (Default, Personal, Business), drag and drop link order, hide / show toggle per link.
- Tags: 21 system tags (Prospect, Lead Hot, Lead Warm, Client, Retainer, Met at Event, Cold Outreach, Inbound Contact, Viewed my Profile, Requested Demo, Considering, Follow Up Later, High Value, Decision Maker, Connector, Partner, Vendor, Investor, Friend, Family) plus user custom tags.
- Capture Card (beta): take a photo of a printed business card and let on device OCR (Tesseract.js, English) extract name, role, email, phone, website. Photo is discarded after parsing.
- Analytics: card views, contact saves, mutual exchanges, top countries, per link clicks.
- AI assistance (beta): MyKard Assist (Google Gemini 2.5 Flash) is the in-app help agent. It answers questions about how MyKard works, polishes user bios, and drafts follow up messages. For payment topics it refers users to the partner Payxem at payxem.com. For account or technical issues it points users to Help and Support in the side menu.
- Discovery directory: any published, search-visible MyKard card is listed at mykard.link/discover. Owners pick up to 5 services from a fixed taxonomy; the first 3 are searchable. The directory shows headline stats (Discovery Page views, Experts listed, Connections made) refreshed four times a day.
- Identity: emails are sent from noreply@mail.mykard.link. Inbound support is talk@mail.mykard.link.
- Payments: when a card owner activates payments, the partner Payxem (payxem.com) handles wallet, fees, payouts, and KYC. MyKard does not directly process money.

## Crawling preferences
- Marketing pages, blog, guide, sitemap, llms.txt, robots.txt are public and welcome to be indexed and quoted.
- Public user profiles at mykard.link/@username are public when the owner has set status published and indexable. When the owner unpublishes or marks non indexable, do not index.
- The dashboard at app.mykard.link and admin console at admin.mykard.link are private. Do not crawl.
- API endpoints under /api/* return JSON only and require authentication. Do not crawl.
